Do I really have to start with brand strategy?
Yes — and we mean that kindly, not rigidly.
Strategy is the reason the design works. Without it, we’re making visual decisions without knowing what they’re supposed to say or who they’re supposed to move. Every Aileour engagement begins with strategy because we won’t build something we don’t fully understand. Think of it less as a requirement and more as a quality standard we hold for every client, including you.
Do I need website hosting and a domain?
Both are needed for a website. Think of your domain as your street address (how someone knows where to go to find you) while hosting is your house (how you welcome them in.)
The caveat is, some website builders like Squarespace and Shopfiy include hosting to use their builder and platform.
Can't I just use a Facebook page?
What if Facebook is down? It's happened. Suddenly no one can find you!
Beyond that, having your own digital space allows you to create deeper connection and more easily convert in an expereince you create.
And from an SEO or even AEO perspective, you'll have a greater chance at coming up in search results.
